Every built product runs as an internal pilot

Built for Operators Who Run Servers and Fleets

Governor AI governs the automation that touches your infrastructure. Around it, Governor Technologies builds the console, the monitor, the control board and the ransomware defence that infrastructure and security operators need, and is researching how to protect the software they ship.

At a glance

Seven programs, one foundation

Each is a standalone, reusable Governor program; client-specific laws, configuration and state are kept separate. Every built product is in active pilot use, internally and with clients, and every number on this page is a lab result.

Governor AI

A management and safety layer for AI agents operating real systems. Rules specific to each system, program and function are enforced outside the AI, at the point of action. The AI proposes; LawGuard decides whether the action may run, under which authority, and records the evidence.

What it governs

Any program that acts on your infrastructure: a maintenance bot, a deployment agent, a remediation script driven by an AI. Governor AI places a LawGuard decision between the proposal and the action, so a destructive mistake outside the function's laws cannot be carried out.

The first pilot governs a real automated maintenance bot on a privacy-infrastructure operator's fleet, with laws written for that bot's own functions.

Components and modes

  • LawGuard: function-specific laws, decision at the point of action, reproducible releases
  • Governor Memory: persistent, model-independent project memory with provenance
  • Governor Code: several AI agents on one project in a single durable, governed runtime
  • Authority: per-action approval or standing delegation within LawGuard limits, chosen per function and per client
  • Delivery: bespoke system per client; customer-hosted or Governor-managed

Governor Workforce

Full teams of specialized AI worker roles that run a company's day-to-day operations — research, sales, partnerships, product, customer, finance and administration — coordinated as one governed team. Built on Governor AI: each worker is confined to its role, a person stays in the loop, and every action is recorded.

A company team of AI workers

Specialized roles across sales, partnerships, product, customer operations, finance and administration, with a coordinator, a shared memo board and recorded team meetings that turn work into decisions for the founder.

Governed and reusable

The same framework runs for more than one company, with each company's identity, memory and authority kept separate. It is in active pilot inside Governor and with an external client company.

Governor Server Management

A Windows desktop console for operators. One place to see every client workspace, every project and server, what needs approval, what has been backed up and what the Memory archive holds. It is in active use across multiple internal and external pilots, in advisory mode.

Client workspaces

Each client's fleet, projects and records live in their own workspace, so an operator who serves several organizations keeps them cleanly apart.

Project and server wall

A wall of status lights for projects and servers, fed by Governor's own monitoring agent and stack plus adapters for Uptime Kuma, Prometheus and Wazuh, and the tooling a fleet already runs.

Approvals view

Items that need an operator's decision are gathered in one view, so nothing waits unnoticed and every decision is taken deliberately.

Backups

A fleet-wide view that shows what has been protected and when, alongside the servers it belongs to.

Memory archive

The console reuses Governor Memory, so the operator's reviewed knowledge about each client, with its provenance, is available where decisions are made.

Safety layer for governed fleets

Server Management and Server Sentinel are designed to work alongside Governor AI as the operator's additional safety layer around governed automation.

Governor Server Sentinel

A Linux service that gathers evidence from servers, analyses incidents with an advisory AI and sends alerts. Memory is kept strictly separate for each client. Sentinel is designed around three response tiers, so an operator chooses exactly how much the service may do.

In internal pilot use today

Advisory

Sentinel gathers the evidence, analyses the incident and recommends. The operator acts.

Managed

Sentinel proposes a response, and each action needs the operator's approval before it runs.

Autonomous

A standing policy with an exact scope and an expiry lets Sentinel respond within those bounds. Demonstrated on isolated test systems with a Linux service restart as the reference action.

Two products share a name. They are not the same thing. Governor Server Sentinel is this infrastructure monitor for servers and fleets. Governor Technologies also runs a separate security-research effort that uses the Sentinel name; it lives on the Security Research page and is not part of this product.

In internal pilot use · lab-tested lifecycle

Governor VM Control

A Windows desktop control board for the virtual machines, subsystems and emulators an operator works with every day, with a guided, AI-assisted flow for adding a new VM.

Hyper-V

Inventory of the host's virtual machines with start, stop, restart, pause, save and console access from one board.

WSL

The Windows Subsystem for Linux distributions on the machine, managed alongside the virtual machines.

VirtualBox on remote hosts

VirtualBox virtual machines on remote Windows hosts, controlled over SSH.

Android emulators

Android emulators sit next to the VMs, so a mobile test target is handled with the same controls.

Guided "add a VM"

An AI-assisted guided flow walks the operator through adding a virtual machine, step by step.

Verified in the lab

Real Hyper-V and VirtualBox lifecycle tests passed, a 2-hour soak test, and a clean install on a fresh Windows 11 machine (lab results).

RansomShield

Ransomware defence built to detect, contain and recover. RansomShield pairs Linux and Windows agents with a control plane and an investigation console, so an operator can see what is happening on a host, understand it and act on it.

Architecture

  • Agents for Linux and Windows hosts
  • Control plane that coordinates the agents and holds the state
  • Investigation console for the operator who has to understand an incident

Capability areas

  • Observation and detection: implemented, in active development
  • Containment: in active development
  • Automatic recovery: in active development
  • Inline blocking: in active development

Lab discipline. RansomShield is developed and exercised against a gate suite in a controlled lab, where each gate is a check the build must pass before a capability advances.

R&D initiative · launched 2026

Governor Lock

A newly launched major research and development initiative: software protection aiming to make locally executed applications, such as Windows executables and Android packages, resistant to reverse engineering, including AI-assisted analysis.

MODE 1

Governor Lock Wrap

Protect an application that has already been built: a post-build protection pipeline for existing compiled software, with minimal changes to the application itself.

MODE 2

Governor Lock SDK

Build protection in from the start: for newly developed applications designed around their trust boundaries, where protection becomes part of the architecture.

How they fit together

Shared programs, client specifics kept apart

Governor AI governs the automation; the console and the monitor are the operator's additional safety layer around it. All of it rests on one foundation.

Standalone and reusable

Every program is a standalone Governor program with one authoritative source, deployable on its own or with the others.

Client layer kept separate

Client-specific laws, configuration, credentials and live state are never mixed into the shared core. No fork per client.

Bespoke delivery

Governor designs and builds an exclusive system for each client, customer-hosted or Governor-managed. Not a public download, not self-service.

Governor Memory shared

One reusable Memory component serves the flagship and the console, so knowledge is kept with provenance and independent of any one AI model.

Evidence throughout

Governor AI records every decision; Sentinel gathers evidence before any response; RansomShield gives the operator an investigation console.
