Governor Workforce
Governor Workforce is a product of the Governor AI platform: full teams of specialized AI worker roles that run a company's day-to-day operations — research, sales, partnerships, product, customer, finance and administration — coordinated as one governed team, each worker confined to its role, with every action recorded. It is in active pilot inside Governor and with an external client company.
A company team, built from governed AI workers
A real company runs on many roles at once: market research, outreach, partnerships, product, customer work, finance and administration. Governor Workforce is a reusable framework for staffing those roles with specialized AI workers, each confined to its own function, coordinated as a team, and kept under human direction.
It is the same idea as the flagship, applied to the company itself. The workers propose and produce; the rules of each role are enforced outside the worker; a person stays in the loop; and everything is written to a durable record. The framework is designed to be reused for more than one company, with each company's identity, memory and authority kept separate.
Specialized roles, one team
- A full set of business roles: research, sales and partnerships, product, customer, finance and administration
- A coordinator and a shared memo board where every role can raise questions and proposals
- Recorded team meetings that turn work into decisions for the founder
Reusable, kept separate
- One shared, maintained framework of role templates and governed programs
- Each company keeps its own identity, memory, knowledge and authority
- One company's direction and records never leak into another's
Governor runs on Governor
Governor Technologies runs its own internal AI workforce. A team of worker roles covering progress and publishing, funding and partnerships, and technology intelligence researches sources, drafts internal documents and prepares reviews, so the company's own operation is run the way the flagship is meant to run: governed, recorded and human-directed.
Real internal work
The internal team produces durable draft documents and research packets for the founder to review, not just conversation. Each packet carries the sources it was built from.
Advisory by design
The internal workers run in an advisory mode: they research, draft and recommend. Nothing they produce becomes company direction until a person adopts it.
Dogfooding the flagship
Running the workforce on Governor's own operation is how the framework is exercised and improved before it is relied on anywhere else.
In pilot with a separate company
Beyond its own operation, Governor is running an actual pilot of the AI workforce with a separate company. A full team of specialized roles coordinates work through a shared board and recorded team meetings, drafts documents and research, and runs checks on a private working copy of the company's website, all under the same governed, human-in-the-loop model.
What the team does
- Coordinates across roles through a shared memo board and recorded meetings
- Produces draft documents, research and reviews for the company to act on
- Runs sandboxed checks on a private working copy of the company's website
- Keeps a complete, hash-chained audit record of every action
Held under human authority
- The team is advisory and human-in-the-loop; outcomes are approved by people
- External actions, such as sending messages or publishing, are held under explicit approval and are not enabled in the pilot
- Each worker is confined to its role's permitted functions, enforced outside the worker
- The company's identity, memory and authority are kept entirely separate
Workers that cannot step outside their role
The workforce is built on Governor AI. The same discipline that governs an automation agent governs an AI worker: the rules sit outside the worker, a person stays in the loop, and every action is recorded.
-
1
Each worker is confined to its role
A worker may only use the functions its role permits. A request for anything outside that role is refused at the boundary, not left to the worker's judgement.
-
2
A person stays in the loop
The workers are advisory: they research, draft and recommend. The founder sets direction and approves outcomes, and nothing is adopted as company direction on its own.
-
3
External actions are held under approval
Sending messages, publishing and spending are held under explicit, per-function authority. In the current pilots these external actions are not enabled; the work is internal drafts, research and reviews.
-

Everything is recorded
Every action is written to a complete, hash-chained audit log, and work runs under per-task cost and function limits, so what the workforce did can always be reviewed.
Authority is chosen per function. A role can hold a standing delegation for low-risk internal work, or require approval for each action. The choice is made per function and per company, the same way it is for Governor AI.
